Overview

The Overview is the page you land on after signing in. It answers two questions on one screen: does anything need me? and is stock flowing to every marketplace? What needs a person comes first, each problem with its fix right on the row. Use it for the daily check and whenever you want to know if all is well. Press G then H to come back to it from anywhere.

Everything on the page updates live: the server pushes each change to your screen as it happens, so you never need to reload (see Live updates).

The page at a glance

The Overview of 7 accounts and 13,215 offers: the five tiles along the top (Offers in sync 92 %, Waiting to send 713 with 542 held, Needs a fix 106, Orders to check 3, PIM data < 1 min ago); Needs your attention on the left with a fix button on each row, from Fashion Days BG is suspended to eMAG BG is in Preview; Happening now on the right; the Accounts table under them, Fashion Days BG first; then Throughput and Offer health

From top to bottom:

  • Overview, with a line under it: how many accounts and offers there are, for example 7 accounts · 13,215 offers.
  • Updated — when the figures on screen were last read; hover over it for the exact time.
  • Legend — what every account status and offer status means, and what to do about it (see Legends and tooltips).
  • Read PIM now — asks Stock Sync to read the PIM right away instead of waiting for the next reading (every 15 minutes). Operators only.
  • The five tiles — Offers in sync, Waiting to send, Needs a fix, Orders to check and PIM data. Each one opens the list behind its number.
  • Needs your attention — your to-do list, most urgent first, with the fix on each row.
  • Happening now — the newest events across every account, as they happen.
  • Accounts — one line per account, the ones that need a look first.
  • Throughput — stock sent per hour or per day.
  • Offer health — every offer by where it stands.

There is no New account button here any more: accounts are created on the Accounts page, with the + beside Accounts in the sidebar, or with Ctrl K (see Search or jump to).

The five tiles

Each tile has a label, a big number, a line of context and a coloured icon. The whole tile is a link: click it to open the list behind the number, already filtered. Hover the (i) beside a label for what the number counts.

TileWhat the big number isColourClick opens
Offers in syncLinked offers whose number the marketplace shows, as a share of all linked offers, across the accounts that are not paused. The line under it gives both counts, for example 10,454 of 11,253 linked offers; No linked offers yet before there are any.Green from 99 %, amber from 90 %, red belowOffers filtered to In sync
Waiting to sendStock updates the marketplace has not applied yet: Waiting to send, plus Sent, awaiting confirmation (ABOUT YOU only). The line says Going out within seconds, Nothing waiting to be sent, or N held: the account can't send when some belong to accounts in Preview or suspended.Grey normally; amber when some are heldOffers on the Waiting view
Needs a fixOffers a person has to act on: Failed, Rejected and Orphaned. Each offer is counted once. The line splits them, for example 63 failed · 23 rejected · 20 orphaned, or says Nothing failed, rejected or orphaned. Paused accounts are left out, here and in the list it opens — which is why the tile can read 106 while the number beside Offers in the sidebar reads 118: the sidebar counts every account, the paused Fashion Days RO Wh 2 and its 12 included.Green at 0, red aboveOffers on the Needs a fix view
Orders to checkOrders in the state Needs attention. The line under it says how many more are on their way to Odoo and the age of the oldest, for example 1 more on their way to Odoo · oldest < 1 min, or No order needs a person.Amber when an order needs a person, or the oldest has waited an hourOrders on the Needs attention view
PIM dataHow long ago the PIM was last read successfully, for example 2 min ago (< 1 min ago right after a reading); Never before the first reading. The line gives the exact time and every 15 min.Green up to 20 minutes, amber after 20 (one reading missed), red after 35, or when the PIM was never readActivity → Sync runs

A few rules behind the numbers:

  • Only linked offers count in Offers in sync. Not linked offers are never sent anything, so they cannot be in or out of sync. Orphaned offers do count: they are sent 0.
  • Paused accounts are left out of Offers in sync, Waiting to send and Needs a fix, and out of the lists those tiles open: a paused account sends nothing, so its waiting offers say nothing about how the sync is doing. Suspended accounts are counted: their waiting offers are a problem to see. The sidebar's Offers number does count paused accounts, so it can be higher than Needs a fix.
  • Held updates are real updates that cannot go out yet: their account is in Preview (nothing is sent until it goes Live) or Suspended (nothing is sent until it is recovered).

Needs your attention

This list is your to-do list. Each row names one kind of problem, gives a short detail, and carries the button that fixes it, so you rarely need to go anywhere else. The number beside the title counts the rows that need a person; when nothing does, the list shows All clear and Nothing needs a hand right now. Rows disappear by themselves once the problem is solved.

The Needs your attention list, its count reading 6: red rows Fashion Days BG is suspended (Edit connection, Recover), 3 outbox messages set aside (Review) and 67 offers failed on 4 accounts (Retry all failed, View); amber rows 3 orders need attention (Review orders), 25 offers rejected by the marketplace (View offers) and Sending round failed for Fashion Days BG (View runs); and a blue row eMAG BG is in Preview, going Live would send 454 stock updates (Open account)

The colour of the bar on the left of a row says how urgent it is: red needs a person now, amber is worth a look, blue is for information (an account waiting in Preview).

How the list stays short with many accounts: every suspended or degraded account has its own row (each needs its own connection fixed), but failed offers, rejected offers, failed runs and accounts in Preview each take one row across all accounts, with the count per account in the detail. With only one account concerned, the row names it and acts on it alone.

Every fix button explains itself: hover over it to read what it does before you click. Recover asks for a confirmation first; Retry failed, Retry all failed and Read PIM now act at once and say what they did in a message at the bottom right. The buttons that change something are an operator's; a viewer sees the links (View, Review, View offers, …) only.

A failed run is listed only while it is the latest run of its kind for that account; any later run of the same kind clears it. At most three are named; Activity → Sync runs has them all.

Messages and what they mean has the exact wording of every row.

Happening now

Beside the to-do list, Happening now shows the newest events across every account, newest on top: stock sent or rejected, orders arriving or needing attention, accounts paused or recovered, background runs finishing. Each line has a coloured dot (green fine, amber worth a look, red a problem), the account's badge and name, who did it when a person did, and how long ago. A line about an offer or an order is a link: it opens that offer or order beside its list.

New lines slide in on top as they happen; the lines already there stay where they are. The heading says Live while changes are pushed to your screen, or Refreshes every 15 seconds when the live connection is off. Open the activity feed → opens the full feed, with filters, on the Activity page.

Accounts

One line per marketplace account, the ones that need a look first: suspended, then those with offers to fix, then those not sending, then the rest. The first eight are shown; Show all N accounts lists the rest and Show fewer folds them again. At the top right, N of M sending with nothing to fix sums it up, and Manage accounts → opens the Accounts page.

ColumnWhat it shows
AccountThe account's badge, its name (a link to the account) and the marketplace under it
StatusOne word: Sending, Preview, Paused or Suspended (see Account status). A suspended or degraded account shows the marketplace's reason under it; one in Preview or Paused reads nothing is sent. Hover for the meaning.
In syncThe share of linked offers in sync, and a thin bar split into in sync (green), waiting (amber), needs a fix (red) and not linked (grey)
WaitingStock updates not applied yet. Click the number to see those offers.
Needs a fixFailed, rejected and orphaned offers, each counted once, in red. Click the number to see them.
Not linkedOffers with no PIM product. Only on wider windows.
OrdersN need attention, a link to those orders, when some of the account's orders need a person
Last sentWhen the marketplace last accepted a stock update for the account, or never. Only on wider windows.

Click a row to open the account. In the table, J and K move down and up the rows and Enter opens the account.

One status word instead of three badges

Each account used to show three badges: its mode (Preview or Live), its state (Active or Paused) and its health. The Status column puts them into the one word that answers is this account sending?:

StatusWhen
SendingLive, active and healthy (a degraded account still sends)
PreviewIn Preview: everything is calculated, nothing is sent
PausedPaused: nothing is imported, recalculated or sent
SuspendedThe marketplace refused the connection: all work stopped

When two apply, the one to deal with first wins: Suspended before Paused, Paused before Preview. An account that is both paused and in Preview reads Paused; its line in Needs your attention says so.

Take eMAG BG in the picture: Preview, 454 waiting, 27 % in sync and Last sent: never. Stock Sync worked out 454 stock updates but, in Preview, sends none. Going Live would send them. See Preview and Live. Compare Fashion Days BG: Suspended, with Last sent: 33 minutes ago: it was Live, but the marketplace refused its credentials (eMAG offer/save answered 401: Invalid vendor credentials), so nothing has gone out since and its 88 updates wait. It needs Bring back a suspended account.

Throughput

The chart shows what the sync did over time.

SwitchWhat it shows
StockStock updates Sent (green), Rejected (pale red) and Failed (red), stacked on each other
CatalogPIM products Read and Changed by the PIM readings
24hThe last 24 hours, one point per hour
7dThe last 7 days, one point per day
30dThe last 30 days, one point per day

Your browser remembers the switches you chose. The line of totals under the title sums up the whole range and doubles as the legend; then comes how many runs there were, with the failed ones in red. Hover over the chart for one hour or day; the last one is still running, so it is marked (so far). On 7d and 30d the days are counted in UTC and say so, which means a day starts at 03:00 Romanian time in summer. 24h follows live updates with the rest of the page; 7d and 30d refresh once a minute.

How to read it: an example

With Stock and 24h chosen, the totals read 5,209 sent · 81 rejected · 37 failed · 166 runs · 2 failed. That tells you:

  • Over the last 24 hours, 5,209 stock updates reached the marketplaces. That is the green area.
  • The green area rises in the morning, peaks around 400 updates an hour during the day and falls at night. That is the normal shape: stock moves when people buy and the warehouse works.
  • Around 04:00 a thin red band appears on top of the green. For about an hour some updates were rejected or failed, and two of the 166 runs failed. Needs your attention and Activity → Sync runs say which account and why.
  • After that the green goes on without red: sending recovered by itself.

With Catalog and 7d chosen, the same chart shows the PIM side of the week:

The Throughput chart with Catalog and 7d chosen: an area of PIM products read per day over the week and a thin line of products changed; the totals read 642,092 read and 32,362 changed

Here the readings looked at 642,092 products over the week, and 32,362 of them had a change. The changed line stays low and steady: that is normal. A day where the read area drops to nothing means the PIM was not read that day. A flat line at 0 with "No sync runs in this range." means nothing ran in that period: on a working installation that is a warning sign; on a brand-new one it is expected.

Offer health

Every offer of every account, paused ones included, by where it stands: one bar, then a line per status with its count and its share. Each line is a link that opens those offers, and hovering it tells you what the status means.

LineColourOpens
In syncGreenOffers filtered to In sync
Waiting to sendAmberOffers on the Waiting view
RejectedPale redOffers filtered to Rejected
FailedRedOffers filtered to Failed
Not linkedGreyOffers on the Not linked view

Why can Offers in sync say 92 % while In sync here is 89 %? This card's share is of all offers, not linked ones included; the tile's share is of linked offers on accounts that are not paused. Both are right; they answer different questions.

Waiting to send here also counts offers that are Sent, awaiting confirmation (only ABOUT YOU has those): in both, the marketplace has not applied the number yet. The not linked share is normal: those are offers on the marketplace without a PIM product. Stock Sync leaves them alone. See Matching offers to products.

Read PIM now

Read PIM now, at the top of the page and on the PIM rows of Needs your attention, asks for a PIM reading at once. No confirmation is asked.

The Overview right after Read PIM now: a green message at the bottom right says a PIM reading was requested

The message reads "A PIM reading was requested. PIM data updates when it finishes, usually within a minute." The reading then shows in Happening now and under Activity → Sync runs, and PIM data drops to a few minutes. Clicking twice in a row does not start two readings. See Read the catalog again now.

Live updates

The Live pill at the top right of every page says whether changes are being pushed to your screen (see The Live pill):

  • Live — every change arrives as it happens. The tiles, the lists and the chart follow by themselves; as a safety net the page also reads everything again once a minute.
  • Paused — you paused live updates to look at something without it moving. Nothing is lost: resume and the page catches up.
  • Connecting… or Not live — the live connection is not there; the page then reads its figures every 15 seconds instead.

If the connection drops after it worked, a banner under the top bar says Connection lost at …; you are looking at what was loaded, and the page catches up by itself once the connection is back. If a refresh fails, the page keeps the last figures and a notice says "Could not refresh. Showing the last loaded data."

A brand-new installation

Before any account is added, the Overview is mostly empty.

The Overview with 0 accounts · 0 offers: Offers in sync shows a dash with No linked offers yet, the other tiles show 0, PIM data reads < 1 min ago; Needs your attention says All clear, Nothing needs a hand right now; Happening now lists three PIM readings, the oldest 48210 seen · 48210 changed; the Accounts table says No channel accounts yet; the chart is a flat line with 3 runs; Offer health says No offers yet; the sidebar says No accounts yet. New account

  • Offers in sync shows — because there are no linked offers yet, and No linked offers yet.
  • PIM data is read from the start, even with no accounts, so it shows a recent reading (< 1 min ago in the picture). The first reading sees and changes every product (48210 seen · 48210 changed under Happening now), because Stock Sync meets them all for the first time; later ones see only what changed.
  • Accounts says No channel accounts yet., and the sidebar No accounts yet. with a New account link. The first step is to add one: Accounts in the sidebar, then New account (see Add a marketplace account).
  • Needs your attention says All clear, and Offer health No offers yet.

Good to know

  • A viewer sees every figure, every list and every link, but not Read PIM now nor the fix buttons that change something (Recover, Retry failed, Retry all failed, Edit connection).
  • Every tile, row and status explains itself on hover. Legend at the top lists every account and offer status with what to do.
  • On a narrow window the tiles wrap onto two or three rows and the less important columns of the accounts table hide; their information stays in the tooltips and on the account.
