Go from Preview to Live
You switch a checked account from Preview to Live, so Stock Sync starts sending its stock to the marketplace, and you know how to pull back at once if you need to.
Before you begin
Who can do this: an Operator. A viewer sees the status banner without its buttons.
Time needed: 15 to 30 minutes of checks, then one minute to switch.
Before you start: the account exists and its first offer import has run (see Add a marketplace account). The product owner or operations has agreed to go Live.
Pre-flight checklist
Go Live only when you can tick every line.
| ✓ | Check | Where |
|---|---|---|
| ☐ | The account reads Preview (not Paused or Suspended) | The status beside the account's name, and its status banner |
| ☐ | Last import is recent and the latest Offer import is Succeeded | The account's Summary tab, Recent runs; or Activity → Sync runs |
| ☐ | Not linked is a number you expect, and those offers are known and reported | Summary tab, Offers figures |
| ☐ | The Lead-time limit is what the product owner asked for | Summary tab, Stock path; or Settings → Stock rules |
| ☐ | Five to ten Waiting to send offers opened one by one: Stock to publish is right for the PIM figures | The account's Offers tab, Waiting quick view; click a row to open its side panel and press J for the next |
| ☐ | Not eligible offers are expected (long lead times), not a mistake in the limit | Offers tab, Eligible filter: Not eligible |
| ☐ | The number in "Going Live would send [n] stock updates now." is what you expect | The status banner |
From Preview to Live, and back
Steps
Open the account from the sidebar (or Ctrl K and its name). An account in Preview has a PREVIEW tag there.

Read the status banner under the name. It says how many stock updates would go out the moment the account goes Live, for example "Going Live would send 454 stock updates now."
Work through the pre-flight checklist. The Summary and Offers tabs hold everything it needs.
Click Go Live in the status banner (or More → Go Live… in the header). Hover over it first if you like: "Start sending stock to the marketplace. You confirm by typing the account name."
A dialog asks Go live with eMAG BG? and repeats how many updates will be sent.

Type the account name exactly, capitals and spaces included. Go live stays greyed out until the name matches.
Click Go live. Cancel closes the dialog and changes nothing.
What you should see
- A message: "eMAG BG is Live; its waiting stock updates are being sent."
- The status beside the name turns green Sending, the PREVIEW tag disappears from the sidebar, and the banner turns green: "Live: stock changes reach eMAG Bulgaria within seconds. Last sent … [n] updates are on the way."
- A Sending round for the account appears in the Live feed and in Activity → Sync runs within seconds. Stock goes out at about 100 offers per second, so 454 updates take a few seconds and 10,000 about two minutes.
- The page follows live: Waiting falls and In sync climbs to nearly 100 % as the marketplace accepts the numbers.
- The account's Activity tab says you switched to Live.
From now on every PIM change reaches the marketplace within about 15 minutes. See When things happen.
Going back to Preview
If anything looks wrong after going Live, click Back to Preview in the status banner (or More → Back to Preview). There is no confirmation: sending stops at once, and a running sending round stops before its next request.

- The message: "Fashion Days RO is in Preview; nothing is sent to the marketplace."
- The status reads Preview again, and the banner says how many updates are now waiting.
- Nothing is lost: stock keeps being calculated and offers keep Waiting to send until you go Live again.
Going back to Preview is always safe, and it works even while the message queue is down.
If something goes wrong
| You see | Do this |
|---|---|
| Go live stays greyed out | The name typed does not match exactly. Check capitals and spaces. |
| The dialog adds "The account is suspended, so nothing is sent until it is recovered." | You can go Live, but nothing is sent until you recover the account. Better: recover first. A suspended account's banner offers Edit connection and Recover instead of Go Live. |
| The dialog adds "The account is paused, so nothing is sent until it is resumed." | The same: nothing is sent until you resume it. A paused account's banner offers Go Live and Resume side by side. |
| A red message inside the dialog that does not say "is now Live" | Going Live was refused; the dialog stays open so you can try again without retyping. See Messages and what they mean. |
| A red message in the dialog starting "eMAG BG is now Live, but…" | The account is Live. Close the dialog. The waiting updates go out within a minute of the message queue coming back. |
| Many offers go to 0 after going Live | Click Back to Preview. Check Eligible on those offers: a lead-time limit that is too strict is the usual cause. Change the lead-time limit, check again, go Live again. |
| Offers stay Waiting to send | See Offers stay Waiting to send. |
Example
eMAG BG was created nine days ago and has been in Preview since. Its banner says "Going Live would send 454 stock updates now." Radu runs the checklist:
- The status reads Preview; the nightly Offer import of 04:41 is Succeeded in Recent runs.
- Not linked 58. The 58 are listed by the listing team already.
- Lead-time limit ≤ 2 days, as the product owner asked.
- On the Offers tab he picks Waiting and opens the first row; with J he walks through eight offers in the side panel. Offer 310459: PIM stock 3 available / 5 on hand, Stock to publish 3, Marketplace shows 9. Correct: Stock Sync sends available.
- No surprise in Not eligible: they are supplier products with 5-day lead times.
At 15:30 he clicks Go Live, types eMAG BG, and clicks Go live. The message confirms it; a Sending round with "454 published" appears in the feed a few seconds later, and In sync reaches 99 % while he watches.
At 16:10 operations asks him to stop while they check a price campaign. He clicks Back to Preview: "eMAG BG is in Preview; nothing is sent to the marketplace." At 17:00 they are done and he goes Live again; the 12 updates that waited meanwhile go out at once.
