Glossary
Every word Stock Sync and this guide use with a special meaning, in alphabetical order. Words in bold are the screen's own labels.
A
ABOUT YOU — A marketplace Stock Sync sends stock to, with a connector of its own. Its offers are linked to PIM by SKU, and it confirms a stock update a moment after accepting it. See Matching offers to products and Sending stock to the marketplace.
Account (marketplace account, channel account) — One seller account on one marketplace, for example eMAG Romania or Fashion Days Bulgaria. Each has its own connection, settings, mode, state and health, summed up in its account status, and its own workspace. See Accounts and Account workspace.
Account badge — The small coloured box with an account's initials (ER for eMAG Romania, ER2 for eMAG Romania Wh 2), shown wherever the account appears. Its colour is never red, amber or green. An operator can change it in Settings → Appearance. See Every status explained.
Account status — One word saying whether an account is sending: Sending, Preview, Paused or Suspended. It sums up the publish mode, the state and the health, and names the one to deal with first. See Every status explained.
Activity — Two things. The main menu's page listing everything Stock Sync is doing, in three tabs: Live feed, Sync runs and Outbox (see Activity). And an account's Activity tab, listing what people did on that account (with their e-mail address) and what the system did (see Every status explained).
Active — The account state in which Stock Sync imports, recalculates and (in Live) sends. The opposite of Paused. See Account health and pausing.
API address — The internet address Stock Sync uses to talk to the marketplace for one account, for example the eMAG Romania or Fashion Days Romania address. It decides which marketplace the account is. See Account settings: Connection.
API key — The one credential of an ABOUT YOU account, made by an Admin in the ABOUT YOU Seller Center (Settings → API Keys) and shown there once. It decides which ABOUT YOU shop, real or sandbox, Stock Sync writes to, so it can be changed only while the account is paused or in Preview. Stored encrypted, never shown again. See Enter or change credentials.
API user and API password — The credentials the marketplace gave the seller account for automatic access. The password is stored encrypted and never shown again. See Enter or change credentials.
Appearance — The section of an account's Settings tab where an operator can change the account's badge: its initials and its colour. See Account settings.
Available (stock) — PIM's figure for units that can be sold now. This is what Stock Sync publishes. See How the quantity is calculated.
B
Barcode (EAN) — The product's barcode, taken from the linked PIM product, shown and searchable in the offer list and in Search or jump to (so a not-linked or orphaned offer has none). Never used to link offers to products. See Matching offers to products.
Breadcrumb — The path at the top of a page, such as Accounts › eMAG BG › Offers. Click a part of it to go back up.
Break-glass — An emergency sign-in for the technical team on the development site only, used when Microsoft sign-in is broken. It lasts one hour. See Signing in.
Bulk actions — Buttons that act on several rows at once, on the bar that appears at the bottom of a list while rows are ticked: Resync stock, Retry failed and Export on Offers; Retry and Mark resolved on Orders; Pause, Resume, Import offers and Recalculate on Accounts; Release on the Outbox. Operators only (Export too for viewers). See Offers.
C
Campaign lock — A marketplace refusal because the offer is in a promotion whose stock cannot change. The offer shows Rejected; Stock Sync tries again every 6 hours for up to 14 days. See Sending stock to the marketplace.
Cancel at the marketplace by hand — The reason an order needs attention when Odoo gave up items and Stock Sync cannot cancel them at the marketplace itself (eMAG and Fashion Days). You cancel them there, then press Mark resolved. See When Odoo cancels.
Cancel failed — The reason an order needs attention when a cancellation asked from Stock Sync could not be finished, at ABOUT YOU or in Odoo. Retry tries the cancellation again from where it stopped. See Cancel an order.
Cancel order (cancellation) — Cancelling an ABOUT YOU order, or some of its open lines, from its side panel or page, with a reason. Stock Sync cancels the items at ABOUT YOU, which tells the customer, and in Odoo, which frees the reserved stock. Operators only, Live accounts only. See Cancel an order.
Cancelled (order) — The order state in which every line of the order was cancelled from Stock Sync. Different from Cancelled before import, which the marketplace decided before the order reached Odoo. See Every status explained.
Catalog — Stock Sync's copy of every PIM product: name, brand, stock, lead time, SKU, size and barcodes. See Reading the catalog from the PIM.
Catalog freshness — The former name of the PIM data tile. See PIM data.
Connection — Everything Stock Sync needs to reach the marketplace for one account: API address, API user, API password, warehouse id and requests per second. It is the first section of an account's Settings tab. See Account settings: Connection.
Connector — The part of Stock Sync that knows how to talk to one kind of marketplace. Today there are two: eMAG / Fashion Days and ABOUT YOU. In New account you pick the marketplace site, and the connector comes with it. See New account.
Credentials — The API user and password of an account. The screens show only whether they are set and when they changed. See Enter or change credentials.
D
Degraded — An account health meaning "working, but with a problem". Nothing sets it automatically in the current version. See Every status explained.
Drift — When the marketplace shows a different number from what Stock Sync last sent, usually because customer orders lowered it. The daily offer import finds it and sends the right number again. See When things happen.
E
Edit connection — The button that opens an account's Settings → Connection (in the More menu, a suspended account's banner, the Summary's Connection card, the Overview's suspended-account row and the Accounts row menu). It used to be a page of its own. See Account settings.
Eligible — Whether an offer's lead time is within the account's lead-time limit. A not eligible offer is published as 0. See How the quantity is calculated.
eMAG / Fashion Days — The marketplaces Stock Sync sends stock to. Fashion Days uses the same system as eMAG, so one connector serves both. See What Stock Sync does.
Ended on the marketplace — The offer has reached its end of life on the marketplace. Stock Sync sends it nothing more. See Every status explained.
F
Failed (offer) — Sending kept failing with temporary errors and Stock Sync gave up after 8 attempts, about an hour. Fixed with Retry failed. See Resend stock for some offers.
Failed (run) — A sync run that stopped with an error. See Activity → Sync runs.

Full PIM check — The nightly run (by default at 02:17, Romanian time) that reads every PIM product and finds removed ones. It refuses to remove more than 5 % of products in one night. See Reading the catalog from the PIM.
G
Gaia (Gaia Suite) — The tool that today collects the marketplace orders into a file that staff upload into Odoo. Stock Sync takes this over for ABOUT YOU, one step at a time; in Preview it compares its orders with the ones Gaia's upload created. See How orders reach Odoo.
Given up — Units Odoo will not send: ordered, minus delivered, minus still on an open delivery, counted per product. A unit waiting in a backorder is not given up. When Odoo has given units up for 30 minutes, Stock Sync cancels the matching items at the marketplace, or, where it cannot, asks you to do it by hand (Cancel at the marketplace by hand). See When Odoo cancels.
Go Live — Switching an account from Preview to Live, confirmed by typing the account's name. The button is in the status banner of an account in Preview. See Go from Preview to Live.
H
Happening now — The Overview's list of the newest events of every account, pushed as they happen. See Overview.

Line status — What the marketplace says about one line of an order: Open, Shipped, Cancelled or Returned. Only an open line can be cancelled. See Every status explained.
Link status — Whether an offer is matched to a PIM product: Linked, Not linked or Orphaned. Not linked and Orphaned show as the row's status in the Offers list. See Every status explained.
Linked — An offer whose marketplace id is a PIM product id that exists in PIM (for ABOUT YOU, a SKU that exactly one PIM product has). Only linked offers get their stock from PIM; orphaned offers get 0, and not-linked offers get nothing. See Matching offers to products.
Live — The publish mode in which stock is actually sent to the marketplace. See Preview and Live.
Live feed — The first tab of Activity: every change across every account, as it happens, with filters by kind and account. See Activity.

Not moving — An open order that has not changed for 24 weekday hours; a quick view of Orders, a row of the Overview's Needs your attention and an alert in the Teams Operations channel. Each says where the order is stuck: Waiting in Needs attention, A cancellation is not finished, Shipped in Odoo, not yet confirmed by the marketplace or Imported, not shipped. See Orders: Not moving.
